Wabi Sabi Sale

In traditional Japanese aesthetics, wabi-sabi is a world view centered on the acceptance of imperfection. The aesthetic is sometimes described as one of appreciating beauty that is "imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete" in nature.

The Wabi-Sabi Sale celebrates our poetically imperfect pieces - often referred to as ‘seconds.’ We also have several one-of-a-kind-pieces for sale as well. This year, our in-shop Wabi Sabi Sale was held on January 27th, and the pieces listed here are a few of the perfectly imperfect pieces that have yet to find a home!

These pieces are completely functional, they just have a few differences from our standard collection that make them unique! These unique differences are disclosed in product photos and descriptions. As with the rest of our standard collection, all of these pieces are food and dishwasher safe; and while they are microwave safe, we recommend limiting their use in the microwave because it weakens our wares over time.
